My Point

Do you hate Stainless Steel Blades? Do you own a ton of them and none of them will keep an edge. Aren't you sick of the tips your knives bending when you cut something soft. Well I am! Swords and knives made of stainless steel are cheap useless crap. Good for nothing but decoration. Even 1045 carbon steel, though a soft steel, is better than stainless. Now don't get me wrong some stainless knives are okay, if you want to pay out the a** for them, like Boker Plus knives. But a real blade is made of 1055-1095 high carbon steel or even 5160-9260 spring steel. A good example of high carbon is Ka-Bar. They've been making knives for the US military since WW2 and still do. Now spring steel is common with longer blades such as swords, like Cheness or the Cas Hanwei Tactical Line. But quality always comes with a price, but in the end isn't being alive with a functional blade beat being dead with a chuck of crap in your hand? You decide....
